Wall Tiles in Leicester
Ceramic and porcelain wall tiles for bathrooms, kitchens and feature walls, in gloss, matt, metro and large-format finishes. On display at both Leicester showrooms.
Walls are where you can be bolder.

Walls carry less wear than floors, which means more freedom, brighter colour, higher gloss, more pattern. We stock a wide range of ceramic and porcelain wall tiles across both Leicester showrooms, from timeless white metro to large-format panels and decorative feature tiles.
Our team will help you judge finish and scale against your room, and hand you free samples to check in your own light before you commit.

Getting a wall tile right
Ceramic vs porcelain on walls
Ceramic is lighter, cheaper and easier to cut, and is the usual choice for walls. Porcelain suits large-format walls or where extra durability is wanted.
Gloss vs matt
Gloss reflects light and suits darker rooms; matt is softer and hides marks. The same tile can feel very different in each finish.
Tiling over tiles
It is sometimes possible to tile over sound existing tiles with the right preparation and adhesive. Ask our team about your specific wall.
Substrate & weight
Plasterboard and stud walls have weight limits. For heavy large-format tiles, check the wall can take them before you buy.
Ceramic vs porcelain
| Factor | Ceramic | Porcelain |
|---|---|---|
| Wall use | Excellent, the standard | Good, better for large format |
| Weight | Lighter | Heavier, denser |
| Ease of cutting | Easier on site | Harder, needs the right blade |
| Cost | Lower | Higher |
| Best for | Most walls and splashbacks | Large-format & high-wear walls |
Estimate your coverage
An estimate only. Add around 10% waste for straight layouts and more for herringbone or diagonal work. Our team will confirm exact quantities in-showroom.

“The finish matters more than people expect, the exact same tile in gloss and matt can transform a room differently. If it is a north-facing or windowless space, a gloss will throw light around and lift it. Take both finishes home as samples before you decide.”

Gloss reflects light and suits darker or smaller rooms; matt is softer and hides marks. It comes down to the room and the look you want.
It depends on the board and fixings. For heavy large-format tiles, check the wall build first, our team can advise.
Glazed ceramic and porcelain do not. Natural stone wall tiles may need sealing, which we will flag if it applies.
